Paul Bush has held a variety of key positions in his 30 years at Telesat. He led initiatives in the development of direct to home (DTH) services, DBS strategy, 2-way internet via satellite, and a variety of business alliances in the Americas.

Under Mr. Bush's leadership, Telesat’s North American Sales department advances the company's strategy to secure long-term corporate profitability and growth by providing services to North American Broadcasters, Enterprises, and Government. Mr. Bush has spearheaded Telesat's business development efforts in US and Latin American satellite service marketplaces, and led the planning for the Nimiq, Anik F, and new Anik G satellite programs.

Mr. Bush holds a Bachelor of Health Science from the University of Ottawa as well as a Bachelor of Education from Queen’s. He currently sits on the Board of The SpaceConnections Inc., and The Society of Space Professionals International (SSPI). Through his affiliations, he has been active in the development of new services and strategies for the deployment of information and communications technologies and in putting forward recommendations concerning the evolution of Broadband and Broadcasting in North America.
