John Acosta is a professor at CUNY’s Kingsborough Community College and has worked in post-production in New York City since receiving his BA in Film Production at Hunter College in 1994 and completely his MFA in Television Production at Brooklyn College in 2008. John was an active Member of the Motion Picture Editors Guild from 1997- 2007 and his credits as an Assistant Editor include, ABC’s Spin City, Nickelodeon’s Little Bill, and An American Love Story for PBS. He has taught at Film/Video Arts, Borough of Manhattan Community College, LaGuardia Community College and for the Exploring Transfer program at Vassar College.
